The fine print
From 1st January 2023, a tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted. The Penang City Council will be imposing a fee of MYR 2 per room per night, payable directly to the hotel upon check in. Please note that this is not included in the room rate. Please note that the reception desk is in service for 24 hours.Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Everything! This place has so much character to it and also was very functional/comfortable. I booked a family loft room and the layout was perfect in having some level of privacy. The location of the hotel is so central with so many eateries and major attractions close by (all within walking distance). I will book this place again when I return to George Town.

The location was absolutely perfect so much so that we prolonged our stay to three nights! This historic building with its charming boho style lobby was a pleasure to casually sit in and chat. The knowledgeable staff was wonderful, helpful and a pleasure to deal with. The large and absolutely quiet room was lovely, impeccably clean and soooo comfortable. I highly recommend

Great location in the old part of the town, walking distance to almost every landmark and restaurant/bar in the center. Both A/C and fan are available in the room which is perfect, you can use the A/C during the day and fan during the nice so you won’t wake up sick!
